Weekly Special(s)

Here is the piano of the week... well... three actually.

Starting at
$650
The two blond pianos are Everett studio pianos. The top photo is a George Steck studio. All of these pianos are great starters - meaning they are pretty good as they are. With our standard cleaning, tuning, and regulating these will be $650 each. However, the options are endless. We can refinish, touch up, add a bench, make it blue... wherever you want to go with these pianos, they are ready. A refinished price with a bench to match would be $1999 or so. That is like paying for the refinishing and getting the piano for FREE! However, if you want this finished for Christmas, you need to act super FAST! Please comment, email or call with interest. Thanks all!

Comings and Goings

Just to let you all know, the Baldwin studio that was the piano of the week a couple of weeks ago is sold and delivered. We also delivered the player piano that was refinished. We also delivered a new piano that sold out of our Tooele store (Stowe Family Music). And with all those pianos going out, I decided that our shop was getting too empty - actually it was finally getting comfortable instead of overcrowded. Nevertheless, more came in. I will spotlight them tomorrow as our piano(s) of the week. So after 6 piano moves, I am ready for Thanksgiving!

WEEKLY SPECIAL

Here is this week's piano...

BEFORE

AFTER

$2250
This is a beautiful, turn-of-the-century, Everett upright grand. It is a gorgeous burled walnut. As you can see when I purchased this piano, I was expecting to finish this in a satin black. However, when we started stripping off the finish, we found the most beautiful veneer that I have seen in a long time. This piano was shipped to the Salt Lake School District where it spent most of its life. When we bought it, it was really rough - broken pedals, keys replaced will whatever was available, chunks of wood missing, etc. We painstakingly patched pieces of wood that were missing, replaced the pedals and casters, applied new keytops and applied a gorgeous new finish. These pianos do not come around very often. If you would like a beautiful, old-world instrument in your home, don't wait on this one.

Straube Refinish

It is finally finished. Here are some finished pictures of the player piano I have been working on. It was finished with a dark walnut stain over mahogany veneer. The result is a rich brownish red finish. While this piano presented many challenges, it is sure nice to see it finished. Please feel free to comment with any questions or contact us for your Heirloom Piano refinishing.
From my understanding, this piano will now go to John Sampson, RPT who will restore the player portion of the piano. On to the next project!

WEEKLY SPECIAL Kranich and Bach console

$400 AS-IS
$600 Reconditioned

We have a little console piano that I took on partial trade for some rebuilding work. This little piano has been well cared for. In it's current condition it has two keys that are sticking but nothing that would be too difficult to fix. Either way you want it, it has a few chipped keys but has new or polished hardware such as knobs and pedals. We are offering it for a low price due to the lack of storage space available. Please comment, email, or call with any questions.

Piano For Sale: WEEKLY SPECIAL

$950

Here is our first weekly special on a piano for sale. This is a Baldwin Hamilton studio. I have worked on several of these pianos. They are a joy to have. They are sturdy and durable and have a great tone and touch. This one is no exception. This particular model came out of a school and so it saw its share of nicks and scratches. One advantage to school pianos is that they always get regular maintenance. This Baldwin was no exception.

Heirloom Piano Co. took it apart and touched up the finish including a new coat of lacquer for the entire piano. We then replaced the casters and matched a new bench to it. The piano also got cleaned and lightly regulated.

The greatest part of purchasing a piano from us is that each pre-owned instrument comes with a 90 day guarantee that each key will play, the pedals will work, and everything should work as it should. If something doesn't work, we fix whatever went wrong for no charge. Please call, email, or comment if you are interested in this piano or require more details.
